The 50-partner program

Why we're doing the launch program.

We're picking 50 operators across six verticals to be the first deployments of ECHO FLEX. In exchange for being early, you get the price locked at $500/mo for as long as you keep the service running. Not for 12 months. Not for a year. Forever.

$500/mo, locked for life

The launch rate is locked at $500/month for the lifetime of your active service. The retail rate after the 50 slots fill is $1,500/month — you save $1,000/month, every month, for as long as you stay.

First-in-line for new SKUs

Launch partners get early access to future ECHO products — multi-site, indoor, edge-compute bundles — at preferential terms. You shape the roadmap by deploying first.

Direct line to engineering

Launch partners get a Slack channel with our engineering team. Bug? Feature request? Site-specific question? You're not on hold — you're on a thread.

How slot reservation works: Reserving on this page is free and holds your slot temporarily while we run the survey call. After the survey, slot is locked with a $500 deposit (applied to your first month of service). If we can't make the network work at your site, you get every dollar back — full refund, no exceptions. No risk to reserve, no risk to deposit.

For the buyer who's heard about it

What does a private 4G network actually do?

Think of it as your own cellular tower — small, legal, and pointed at your stuff. It uses CBRS, the 3.5 GHz band the FCC opened in 2020 for shared private use. Like private Wi-Fi, except it reaches further, punches through walls and metal, and doesn't fall over when you put 200 devices on it.

CBRS spectrum, no license

The 3.5 GHz band is shared. A SAS coordinates use in real time. You don't apply for a license — we register your basestation and the SAS does the rest.

Your network, your rules

Traffic stays on your spectrum, your gear, your policies. No public carrier in the path. SIMs you control. Same trust model as your wired LAN — extended outdoors and to mobile devices.

Works where Wi-Fi fails

Outdoor yards, metal-dense warehouses, long distances, mobile assets. One LTE sector covers what would take a dozen Wi-Fi APs — and stays connected when the forklift moves.

Standard SIMs, standard devices

Any CBRS-capable LTE device works — routers, scanners, cameras, modems, phones, AGVs, IoT gateways. We ship SIMs pre-provisioned. Plug in, sign on.

One sector, real coverage

A single outdoor basestation typically covers a yard, campus, or kilometer-scale outdoor footprint. Coverage depends on terrain and mounting — we estimate yours before you commit.

FCC Part 96, by the book

Category B outdoor radios require a Certified Professional Installer (CPI). We provide or partner-source the CPI. Compliance handled — you don't read the rulebook.

The 4G vs 5G question

Why 4G LTE — when everyone else is selling 5G.

Honest answer: for most private network deployments today, 4G LTE is the better product. We can sell you 5G — our core is 5G-native — but unless you have a specific reason to need it, you're paying more for hardware that does the same job, with a smaller pool of supported devices. Here's the real tradeoff.

5G-native core, 4G radio access

The ECHO Private Wireless core network is 5G standalone (5GC). When you deploy on ECHO FLEX, we run 4G LTE on the radio side — connected to that 5G core. That means future-proofing without the present-day cost.

Cheaper, proven hardware

CBRS LTE radios are mature, widely deployed, and significantly cheaper than equivalent 5G NR radios. That's a major reason the launch price is $500/mo. The same physics gets you the same coverage.

More devices work, today

Industrial routers, scanners, AGVs, IP cameras, IoT gateways, and most phones support CBRS LTE Band 48. Native 5G CBRS device support exists but is narrower and pricier. LTE means you don't have to replace your fleet.

The use cases match 4G

Telemetry, video, voice, scanning, IoT, AGV control — none of these need 5G's millisecond latency or 10-Gbps peaks. They need reliable, low-jitter, mobile-friendly connectivity. LTE delivers that without the overhead.

5G marketing ≠ 5G value

Most "private 5G" deployments running today are technically 5G NR over the radio but solve problems 4G LTE already solved. You're paying for the badge. We'd rather give you a network that works for less, and upgrade you to real 5G when there's an actual reason to.

Need real 5G? Talk to us.

If your application genuinely requires 5G NR — ultra-low-latency robotics, network slicing, mmWave indoor density — we have ECHO Enterprise 5GC, our 5G upgrade SKU. Same core, different radio, different price. Reach out.

Reservation → Live signal

Yes to live signal in four steps.

No multi-month engagement. No procurement gauntlet. The clock starts the day you reserve your spot above.

01 · SURVEY
Day 1 – 5
Reservation + survey call

You reserve a spot via the form. We schedule a survey call within one business day to map your coverage area, mounting options, backhaul, and device list. After the call, $500 deposit locks your slot (fully refundable if we can't make the network work).

02 · LOGISTICS
Day 5 – 12
Hardware ships, SAS registered

Basestation ships overnight from our depot. We register your CBSD with Google SAS and pre-provision your 10 SIM cards. Additional SIMs ($10/ea) can be added at this stage if you know your device count.

03 · INSTALL
Day 12 – 25
Mount, point, activate

Our in-house CPIs work with you on the physical mount — coordinating placement, pointing, and cabling with you or your local installer. We handle Cat-B SAS activation and commission the service remotely from our NOC. You provide power (PoE+) and backhaul.

04 · LIVE
Day 30
Service live, first bill

Devices attach. Traffic flows. We monitor 24/7. Your first $500 invoice goes out the day service is verified — locked at that rate forever. Deposit applied to first month.

Radical transparency

What's in the $500. What's not.

Every other private cellular vendor buries this. We don't. Read it before you talk to us — if something here is a deal-breaker, you'll know before either of us wastes a meeting.

Frequently asked

The questions every buyer asks before they sign.

How does the reservation and deposit work?
Reserving a spot through the form on this page is free and holds your slot temporarily — usually for 5–7 business days while we run the survey call. After the survey, if the network is feasible for your site, you lock the slot with a $500 deposit. The deposit is applied to your first month of service when you go live. If we can't make the network work at your site, you get every dollar of the deposit back. No exceptions, no restocking fee, no fine print.
Why 4G LTE instead of 5G?
Short answer: for almost every private network application today, 4G LTE is the better product. The hardware is cheaper, the device ecosystem is much wider, and the use cases (IoT, telemetry, video, voice, scanning, AGV control) don't need 5G's millisecond latency or 10 Gbps peaks. Our core is 5G-native, so when there's a real reason to upgrade to 5G NR on the radio side, we have ECHO Enterprise 5GC — same core, different radio. We'd rather sell you a network that works for less than charge you for a 5G badge that doesn't change what your devices do.
Can I run 5G if I really want to?
Yes — that's ECHO Enterprise 5GC, our 5G upgrade product. Same hosted 5G-native core, swapped to 5G NR on the radio side. Pricing is different (higher than ECHO FLEX) and the device-support story is narrower since native CBRS 5G handsets and modems are still maturing. If you have a legitimate reason — robotics with real-time control loops, network slicing, mmWave indoor density — reach out and we'll quote it.
How many SIMs come in the kit? Can I add more?
10 SIMs are included, pre-provisioned and shipped with the basestation. Additional SIMs are $10 each with no limit on how many you can add (within the 50-device-per-AP capacity cap). You can buy more SIMs at any point during the service — just email us with a count and we'll provision and ship.
How many devices can connect to one ECHO FLEX network?
ECHO FLEX is sized for up to 50 active devices per access point. That's a deliberate limit for the launch program — it keeps RF capacity per device strong and ensures every launch partner gets a working network. If you need more than 50 devices, that's a multi-AP deployment and we'll quote it separately (still at launch-partner economics if you're in the 50).
Who handles SAS and the install?
Both are handled in-house. We use Google SAS for spectrum coordination — registration, management, ongoing operation. You never log into the dashboard or talk to Google. For the install, our in-house CPIs work with you on the physical mount — coordinating placement, pointing, and cabling with you or your local labor — and then activate the service remotely from our NOC. No third-party contractors, no scheduling gymnastics.
What does "locked for life" actually mean?
As long as your ECHO FLEX service is active and in good standing, your rate stays at $500/month. We don't reserve the right to raise it. We don't time-bomb the price after year one or year three. If you keep the service running, the rate is locked at $500/mo. Period. The only way you lose the rate is if you cancel service — and even then, if you come back within 12 months, we'll honor your original launch-partner slot.
What happens after the 50 slots fill?
The retail rate becomes $1,500/month for new customers. The 50 launch partners keep their $500/mo rate forever. We may eventually open a smaller second cohort at a higher locked rate (say, $750/mo for the next 50), but that's not promised — and it won't help anyone who waited.
Do I need an FCC license to operate this?
No. CBRS General Authorized Access (GAA) is the tier this offer uses — it's unlicensed in the same way Wi-Fi is unlicensed, but coordinated by Google SAS so you don't interfere with anyone else. We handle the SAS registration end-to-end. If you need guaranteed Priority Access License (PAL) spectrum because of an unusually crowded RF environment, ask us — that's a different product.
How far does one basestation actually reach?
It depends on antenna height, terrain, and how dense your buildings are. For a typical 25–40 ft mount on flat ground, you can expect a usable outdoor radius measured in hundreds of meters to over a kilometer for line-of-sight or near-line-of-sight devices. Indoor penetration varies. We don't guess — the survey call covers your specific coordinates and we tell you before you commit the deposit.
What devices work on the network?
Any CBRS Band 48–capable LTE device. That includes CBRS routers (Cradlepoint, Inseego, Sierra Wireless, Baicells, Telit), modern barcode scanners with CBRS modems, IP cameras, IoT gateways, certain ruggedized phones, and most modern iPhones (iPhone 11+) and Pixel phones. We can recommend tested SKUs for your use case during the survey call.
What's the minimum term?
12 months on the initial term, then month-to-month. Cancel with 30 days' notice and ship the unit back. Note: if you cancel, your launch-partner slot is released back to the pool — though we'll honor it if you come back within 12 months. After that, you'd resubscribe at the then-current rate.
Can I keep the core network on-prem?
Not at the $500 price point — the hosted 5G-native core is what makes that price possible. If on-prem core is a hard requirement (air-gapped sites, certain government environments), we have a separate SKU. Talk to us.
What if my site won't get coverage from one basestation?
That's exactly what the survey call is for. If one sector won't cover your site, we tell you before you commit any deposit — and your reservation is released, no harm done. We can also quote you a multi-sector deployment with the launch-partner rate applied to the first sector.

Stop getting six-figure quotes for a problem this size.

The launch program closes at 50 partners. 27 slots are still open right now. Reservation is free — we'll schedule a survey call within one business day.
